Dr. Rimkiene has been working in the Grand Strand community since 2009. She is a board

certified physician specializing in Family and Urgent Care. With over 20 years of

experience, she has worked as a Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, Family

and Urgent Care Doctor, and Collaborating Physician.

Dr. Rimkiene graduated from the Vilnius University Medical School in Lithuania and later

continued her studies to be a Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist in Pittsburgh,

PA. After ultrasound diagnostic school, she completed her Family Medicine Residency at

East Carolina University. Dr. Rimkiene is an expert at preventative and women's care and is

certified in Basic Life Support. She is also fluent in both Lithuanian and Russian.
