Dr. Kleckley specializes in geriatric medicine, which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of

complex and chronic medical conditions experienced by senior adults, including: dementia,

geriatric depression, frailty, falls, mobility and more. As a geriatrician, Kleckley works closely

with each patient’s family and health care team, including specialists, to reconcile medications,

coordinate long-term care and offer additional support services when needed.

Prior to joining PPCP, Kleckley operated his own private medical practice (Charleston Geriatrics

and Post-Acute Care) and has been actively involved with several Mount Pleasant-based

assisted living, skilled nursing, and hospice facilities, serving as attending physician or medical

director. He graduated from Washington and Lee University with his Bachelor of Arts in

American History and took general science pre-medical coursework at both the University of

South Carolina and College of Charleston. 

Dr. Kleckley continued his education at the University of South Carolina, earning his Doctorate of Medicine. He is a member of the American Geriatrics Society, American College of Physicians, and American Medical Directors

Association.
