Our Mission:

Our mission is to provide each patient with the highest quality of care by maintaining excellent ethical standards throughout the clinical trial.  We believe it is our staff that makes us stand out above the rest.

What is a clinical trial?

Clinical trials are research studies that test new ways to detect, prevent or treat diseases. These trials are important to patients because it determines if a new test or treatment works and is safe to administer. In the United States, new medications cannot be sold until they’ve been through clinical trials.

Can I participate in a clinical trial?

It depends on the trial. Researchers are typically looking for people who have a specific disease or who are at a high risk to develop a certain disease. For example, a trial may be looking for a new treatment for Type 1 diabetic patients. Trial coordinators would be looking for patients who suffer with Type 1 diabetes, probably in a certain age range.

The following clinical trials are currently being conducted:

• High Blood Pressure
• Type 2 Diabetes
• Overactive Bladder
• 325 mg Aspirin Therapy (currently taking daily for cardiac prevention)

If you have any of these conditions then you may qualify to participate.

Do I benefit from participating in a clinical trial?

Patients choosing to participate in clinical trials have access to medications and medical treatments before it becomes available to the general public. If you participate, you may receive careful medical attention including your examinations and tests at no cost.
