Dr. Bolt attended the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residency in Family Medicine in his home town of Anderson, South Carolina in 1984. He has been in private practice in Charleston since that time. He has served both as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine in 1991 and Chief of Staff at Trident Regional Medical Center in 1992. He has been Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice continuously since 1986. Dr. Bolt is the Medical Director of PPCP’s Bone Density Center. In March 1999 he received his certification as a Clinical Densitometrist from the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. He lives on James Island and enjoys kayaking.
