Dr. Edwards received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in English from the University of California at Irvine in 1990. He attended the Wake Forest University School of Medicine where he received his Medical Doctorate in 1995. He completed his residency training at the University of Virginia's Lynchburg Family Practice Residency Program.
