Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Alison has more than 15 years of nursing experience. Originally from Ontario, Canada, Alison moved to Charleston in 1997 to pursue a postgraduate degree from the family nurse practitioner program at Medical University of South Carolina, which she completed in 1999. She also received a master in nursing degree from University of Toronto’s College of Nursing and a bachelor degree in nursing from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario.
